Privacy Policy
Overview
SirenChecker is a research tool for discovering and qualifying French business leads using public company datasets. The app does not require an account, does not use advertising technologies, and does not use tracking technologies.
Data we send to external services
To provide search results, SirenChecker sends user-entered search terms and filters to public data services. The table below summarises what is sent and for what purpose.

SirenChecker does not operate its own server or backend. Requests go directly from your device to the services listed above. The app does not log, store, or share your search queries beyond what is needed to complete each request.
INSEE API token
If you choose to enter an INSEE API bearer token in the app settings, this token is stored locally on your device and is sent only to api.insee.fr as an authorization header. It is not used for advertising, analytics, or tracking, and it is not transmitted to any other service.
Data stored on your device
Saved leads are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to export it to a CSV file. No data is stored on our servers because we do not operate any.
External websites opened by the app
SirenChecker lets you open external public company sources for additional research. When you open such a link, your device connects to that website directly and that website's own privacy policy applies. External websites that may be opened include:

Permissions not requested
SirenChecker does not request access to your current location, contacts, camera, microphone, photo library, or device advertising identifier. The app does not use App Tracking Transparency (ATT).
Children
SirenChecker is a business productivity app intended for adults. It is not directed at children under the age of 13.

Changes to this policy
